Use Interactbuilder software on Mac

Can anyone tell me how to open both software programs: interact builder and interact player. I am new to this. Just downloaded software and cannot open using safari

Hi Carol, Once you've downloaded InteractBuilder and InteractPlayer from interactbuilder.com, both programs should be in the applications folder on your computer (not through Safari).

InteractBuilder is used to build you're app and here is a quick tutorial made by Inna on how to make an app:

And the InteractPlayer will let you see how the app will look when it will be published.

Play audio bug when assigning multiple .mp3 clips to same element

When trying to add more than one Play audio clip acton to an element and setting the action to play on page load, I get the error message below in design mode if I try to assign more than one .mp3 sound to the same element. For example I have a voice .mp3 and then I wanted to assign a looping background sound to play also on page load. This error is consistent even after exiting and rebooting. Occurs after 2nd or 3rd .mp3 file is assigned to the same element. Thanks for looking into this issue.

So you have PlayAudio ( Execute on Page load), to this you have chained another PlayAudio (with loop) and to the second one chained another PlayAudio?
I've tried to recreate as I said above but the only problem that I found is that the third PlayAudio will not occur since it must play after the second one ( but the second one is on a loop).
Could you send us a sample app with the problem you have?

When importing a Photoshop file, either suggest the option to the user or even automatically set the lowest layer (if it is a full size image) as the page's background image, instead of simply the lower layer image.

If you name your layer "background" it will set it as the page background.

What does Save page state do?
i am looking for an option that will still show the set text when they return to the page.

That should still show the text, you can also add an action SaveText which will actually save the text that your user entered.

The new Player has been submitted to Apple an is awaiting review. Normally this takes 1 to 2,weeks.

Spin Action request

Would be nice to have a new parameter for SpinLeft and Right: angle or rotation.
I want to be able to spin an non-circular object on tap and that it returns to it's original angle.
In addition, the speed parameter unit (1-100) is unclear. Better be something like "rotations per second" - it makes more sense.

I still can not DRAG my pages into a different position.

Despite several updates to the builder I'm still unable to Drag my pages into a different order. You can click on the page it highlights but you cannot drag it anyplace. I have tried repeatedly to get this function to work but to no avail.

Uninstall Interactbuilder 3 and then go download the latest version from the web site:
http://www.interactbuilder.com/software/

Create a shape
Choose fill solid or gradient
click the color square to open the color picker
click anywhere in the Spectrum colors box

Expected: RGB and button bg update with selected color
Actual: Nothing happens, "tap to apply color" bar remains black
