Coloring book feature

Idea is to let children paint freely on a coloring plate so the black lines don't get overcolored.
it would be nice to be able to do this with 2 layers (one for the coloring & one for the lines.
also a paint bucket would let children create beautiful coloring pages quickly.
-> how do I make these two as fast as possible? In as less steps as possible?

Hi there,
Currently, the lines created with the Draw behavior cannot be underneath the outlines, but to create a paint bucket tool effect that colors behind the outlines of the drawing, you can use the FillColor behavior. Add a Tap-FillColor action set to a blank graphic element, and set the target of the action set to be the portion of the drawing that should be filled when that area is tapped. You can copy and paste this blank graphic element and change the target element depending on the location of the blank element. I'll put together a quick video on this effect and post it here.

invert on bounce

weird, the invert on bounce while frame animation is operating seems to work once but then it begins bouncing without inverting making the characters move backward on the bounce.  no error message appears.

not scaling to iphone

Using the updated player and builder, the apps are not scaling properly to the iphone.

Just adding an update to this thread to say that with InteractBuilder 4 everything should scale correctly to any device size.

it would be very helpful if the audio files would have a way to alphabetize or organize once added instead of in the order they were added to the app.

Displaying Many Pages of 'Book Text'

My interactive Scrapbook story might have quite a few pages of text in it, set up to look like a real book (but interactive, of course) My question is: which method of displaying text would be more efficient, entering it as a text element or displaying each entire page of text as a jpeg? Thank you :-)

Updated InteractPlayer for iPad availability date?

I have the updated InteractPlayer for desktop which was released Feb. 18. It took care of some issues I was experiencing, but I need to have these issues resolved when viewing on the iPad also.
Do you have an idea as to when this updated InteractPlayer will be available from the iTunes store?

IB 4.0 Build 382 | App Conversion Error

Hi,

I downloaded the latest version of InteractBuilder, and as mentioned deleted interactapp.rdb file from app folder. When I click on app icon from Manage tab, it creates a new interactapp.rdb file with zero bytes and nothing happens after that, when I click on the app icon again it shows following error:

All About Airports interactive book not working

My 4 year old son loves aeroplanes and airports. When I saw this app, I knew he'd love it so bought it straight away. On the way home from school I told him I'd got him an app about airports and handed over my iPad. The app wouldn't work. I tried resetting my iPad,I tried uninstalling an re-installing the app, everything I tried, nothing worked, cue lots of tears from my little boy.
I've tried reinstalling this app several times now and all I get is an error message followed by a black screen.
please fix this problem.

Yes we still need a Loading Page that we will ask for during the publish process.
