Advantages of Wireless Router

Rogi Moor il y a 8 ans mis à jour il y a 8 ans 0
  • Wireless router provides you with wireless internet access;
  • You can hook up your computer to other computers and entertainment equipment, like your HD television and gaming equipment.
  • It provides speed which is important in watching movies, gaming, uploading and downloading files. The modern network switch in your wireless router is the wireless access point what will connect you to computers and other network devices;
  • Wireless routers can be connected to anywhere in the immediate environment or home as you can log on or surf the Internet within the surroundings; and
  • Since most wireless routers have built in firewalls, you will be able to ward off intruders. Use the configuration options of the firewall for security and privacy.

Animations not playing in "player"

I am having some major issues with animations!  When I add any animation element to the page, and set it to animate on anything, tap or page load etc, it works fine when i preview in the builder "interact".  But when I try view it in the "player" the animation crashes, and I get a bug report!

I have not tested the animations on an iPad as yet, so I do not know if it is the "builder" or the "player"?

Using PC, windows 7, 64bit

Example code pasted below:

InteractBuilder Version: 3.2 Build 307

See if this happens in the latest version 3.2.5.  The iPad version of the Player should be available a little later this week.

Manage elements toolbar

I LOVE the manage elements toolbar. Really great flexibility. The one thing, that could improve it is if it were possible to move the toolbar out of the way. Sometimes I forget what I'm doing if I can't see the layout and the toolbar is usually right in the middle.

Thanks!!!

Solution

Planned for version 3.5

intersections not logging

I am unable to pull up an intersection after I've entered it to make changes. When I press the intersect button it shows there are no intersections. The interaction still occurs in interact mode, but I'm unable to make changes.

Try going to another page and then go back to the page you want to create the intersections. Press the intersection icon now, it should work.

Save Text Styles

SeanB il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Inna Komarovsky il y a 10 ans 7
Like the Highlighting feature, it'd be nice to save your Text properties (font size, color, style, alignment, drop shadow) as a style for easy reuse.

That's a good idea.Thank you for the feedback post.

Add background color to text box

If possible, please consider enabling a text box to have a either a solid color or a percentage of a solid color background. Not sure if this is already possible as I don't see that as an option.

If this is possible, also enable an offset of the text from the colored box so there is a little padding between the edge of the colored box and the text.  Perhaps also enable an outline color around the text box and allow user to specify how thick the outline should be.

Thanks for considering this.

Solution

Planned for version 3.3 or 3.4.

Erase not working as expected

Not sure if this is a bug, but I want to create an eraser element that user could select to erase part of their drawing.  When I assign On Drag >Drawing > Erase and view in Interact mode, when I go from drawing with another element and then select  the eraser element, and drag it, it erases itself, and not the drawing I wanted to erase.  For example, I want to have several colored crayon elements the user can choose to draw with and also an eraser they can use to erase what they don't want on their picture.  Thanks.

Solution
Alin Alexandru Matei il y a 11 ans

At this moment it is not possible to erase an element while Dragging another one( like the eraser). What I suggest is that two have two erase elements. For the first element the behaviors:

SetEraseMode to On,

TapHide self

TapShow the other erase element.

For the other erase element have:

SetEraseMode to Off

TapHide Self

TapShow the other erase element.

Also if you want an example you can check page nine of A Day with the Butterflies example book app.

Let us know if you are still having problems.

Has anybody here upgraded?

D Jones il y a 11 ans mis à jour par Inna Komarovsky il y a 11 ans 2
Hello, I have been testing out InteractBuilder and so far so good :) I was about to take th eplunge and part with my hard earned cash when I saw a review from a very unhappy lady who upgraded only last week.

I would appreciate some honest feedback please.

Best

David

Hi David! Just a note that you don't need to upgrade until you want to publish or unless you want to use the premium features. Other than those, you can continue using any features of InteractBuilder as much as you want until you're ready to publish an app :)

ability to move info entry screens to access bottom

cannot reach bottom of entry boxes, even if screen is reduced the entry boxes are off screen and will not move.  The only way I could get to the bottom was to add blank pages ahead of the active page which pushed the active page to pg 11 the top of the second grouping. would it be possible to have these screens float so we could move them up to access the bottom?

Solution

This is definitely a bug that needs to be fixed.

Privacy Policy for IB3?

I'm going to be putting together a privacy policy for my app, but I'm not sure what IB3 is doing behind the scenes from a privacy standpoint that I can share with parents and be compliant with the COPPA standards.  Can you please craft a statement that users of your software can include in our privacy policy that will assure our customers of what data is being collected about them (if any) and how that data is being used?  I'm sure other IB3 users would appreciate having a blurb like this they can use with confidence.  Thanks for considering!
