user guide quick button

Melissa Lind 12 år siden opdateret af How to World 3 år siden 8

Just something to think about, but I would love to have a quick button for both the user guide and to empty the cache. I'm finding that I use them both often, and I lose my train of thought when I go looking for them.

Just an idea.

Thanks!

Good suggestions, only challenge is that we are trying to keep the screen real estate pretty clean.   We will definitely consider this suggestion.

We will be adding a small icon on the bottom of the design screen in version 3.3, due for release later this month.

Still wishing the user guide was somewhere quick to access...my how my mind wanders. Also, when I do a search for something and no results are found, there is currently no way to get back to do a new search without closing it out and finding it again, my mind wanders yet again. Back button? The "search again" link doesn't go anywhere.

Some of the searches that come up with nothing are very surprising. Like, I'm trying to figure out the constraints to put in for an object that is larger than the background. I want it to float around when I tilt the device. So I put in just "constraints" and get no results. Or "tilt". Nothing. LOVE the guide, wish it had more in it and was quicker to access.

Thanks for all your hard work. It's really shaping up.

New development. I went to the table of contents and selected one of the options. Now when I hit search again, it always brings me back to that first thing I selected from the table of contents, not exactly what I was looking for but better than nothing.

Melissa, you can easily access the user guide from a web browser.  Visit this page (our feedback page ) and at the top right under the links you will see "User Guide".  You can keep a web browser open at all times so you can quickly see the user guide.

Cool. It's so helpful to be able to move the window around.

It would be great to have a link button on the builder.

Thanks!
