Motion Path - have element follow a curved line
I would like to be able to draw a line and have an animated element follow the drawn path, the path would not be visible in interact mode but act as a guide for the object to follow. For example, the object would fly into place on load and then on tap it could go to the next point that has been designated on the path for the element to follow on tap. This would be a curved line rather than a linear line. If there is another way to do this, please advise. Thanks.

We are absolutely planning to add this feature in a near future version (probably late summer).
It seems that this will be part of the next update as a premium feature?
As I read it in the documentation, you'll move your object from point to point, recording each step of the path. Is that correct?
In the documentation there's also shown a line, that indicates the path. Will it be possible to just draw that line instead?
It's supernice that this feature is on the way, but the stop motion recording seems a bit tedious to me.
I would love to hear more about it :)

I agree, it would be awesome if one could draw a curved line and have the object on the layer above or below it follow that path. One can do this in Flash which made for some very nice smooth animations. Thanks for consider our request, which will improve the user experience.
