Hi Sheila!
Yes, everyone using the free software can try out their apps on their device before the app is finished or published. Here are our instructions for this process, which we call "sharing:"

Thanks for that - tried it before - shared on computer e-mailed myself - go to iPad player - click on "get my apps" - says "none there."I thought everyone just had 5 free shares.. and that it was really for sending to friends.. I just want to test work in progress loads of times..sorry to say this again - but  I just want to see what I'm in the processof building on the computer running on the iPad to test NOT to show to anyone. Is the not free interactCloud the way to go on this please ?
Hi Ina, I set up a shared dropbox - so files can easily be transferred between computer and iPad - the app (one tiny interaction) is sitting in there in a folder but all i can do is pull in the images to interactBuilder NOT run the app.  I think it's the interactCloud that is the answer isn't it? If it is I'll start saving up… The software is just the BEST i've seen and i've tried a lot - being a professional animator - but this inability to test work in progress has taken the shine off a bit!
The five free shares mean that you can have five email addresses with which you share the app any number of times. So you can share the app with your own email address, for example, all throughout the process of building your app.

InteractCloud is actually not for previewing your app. It is for making your app available in InteractBuilder on other computers or devices on which you are signed in to InteractBuilder with the same account -- so that you can build on one computer, upload to InteractCloud, then go to another computer, download your app from InteractCloud, and continue where you left off.

If you receive an email that an app is ready for you but the app is not visible in the list when you click "Get my Apps," this should be because you are logged in to InteractPlayer with a different email address than the one to which you sent the app. Try deleting the InteractPlayer app from your iPad and downloading it again. It will ask you to sign in with an email address and password, so you can make sure you are using the login information that matches the email you received.
Hi Inna - you are a STAR!! IT ALL WORKED thanks so much for taking the time to so clearly sort out - what a SHARE is and the importance of using the same e-mail.. all makes sense when you spell it out the way you have… I would suggest that your very clear description is uploaded in the standard Interactbuilder "help files " as I'm sure a lot of folks must be confused by this.. thanks again - I can now start animating! I'm glad I could help! I'll definitely take note of your questions as we work to improve our user guide. Thank you!
Best of luck with your app! Enjoy!

p.s. Your artwork is so intriguing! I can't wait to explore some of the animations on your website.
Making a memory "matching game" with cards.. is there a way  to stop the card
fading in when clicked - I'd rather it just immediately changed to the face then turned back to the "back" after second or so - no fades at all.

Still love your softwatre - Sheila
You can make the duration of the Fading in behavior very small so that it will look like a show behavior not a fade in behavior.
Many thanks for kindly replying . I tried many variations of timings in "Masking Time: and "Display TIme" the best I could come up with is
Masking time - 0ms and Display time 2000ms (any less and you don't have time to take the face side in)..but it's still rather slow for anyone playing the game. Then I put up my question. Most memory games of this type just flip to other side,..just wondering of there is a different route to enable this to happen? You have some amazing software there - only just touched at the edges..
Hi Sheila, it looks like this is a glitch with the MaskOffOn behavior, so we're going to look into making it reflect the masking time and display time more accurately.
Thanks so much Inna - once again you will save the day .. can you send a message when this is done please as I've put our job on hold until we know we can do this..
Keep up the amazing work- Sheila
