Can I scale animations in the builder?

Yes you can scale animations by adding besides the animation behavior a scale behavior as in the example below:

Thank you. Now it  the test screen for the interactions won't load, so I guess I'll let you know if it works when that comes right.

Can you create a one page app and test if you can go to InteractMode?

Yes I have done so and your solution is perfect thank you! I do jump to this page from a previous one so I would be helpful if I could test that also, but I'm just learning so I guess that can be for another day.
