In your app folder, does the file called "_BookshelfImage.png" show the new image that you assigned, or is the default image?

It could be that the size of the images is causing the slower speed. Could you open one of the images in Photoshop or another image editing program and check what resolution it is using? We recommend using a resolution of 72 ppi.
Hi Gabrielle,
Do the images have very high pixels per inch ratio or very large dimensions?
In the App Properties, is the "Preload All Pages Before Playback" field set to "Yes?"

A few of the behaviors are specific to graphic elements, like the ones in the Graphic Behaviors category and certain movements and animations, but if you don't plan to use a lot of visual effects on the text, then text elements should be fine.
Also since some programs have more specific options for styling the text, like changing the amount of space between lines or between letters, you might take this into consideration when deciding between using text elements or graphic elements for your text.

If you ask the app to preview just one page after clicking "Interact," does the app still not show in InteractPlayer.com?
Hi Gabrielle,
We're finding that there are certain features that are preventing apps from loading in InteractBuilder, and the developers are working on resolving this. If an app has intersections it may run into a problem in Interact mode. Hopefully the app will load when the next update is available. If not, just let us know, and we'll look into which other effects may be causing the problem.

When you share an app with someone else using the "share" option, the recipient gets an email with a link for registering for an InteractPlayer account so that they can access the apps that have been shared with their email address.
Also, another way of accessing your app on your device is to go to interactplayer.com and sign in with your account.

To check if there is any specific feature that is preventing the apps from opening, could you create a one-page app with one graphic element in it and see if it opens in InteractPlayer? This should help us start to isolate the problem.
A few questions:
What format is the image file? (.png, .jpg, etc.)
When you select the bookcase image, do you see the progress bar in the bottom right corner of the InteractBuilder window?
If you open your app folder in your file browser, does the file called "_Bookshelfimage.png" reflect the new image that you assigned?

Hi Eleisha,
If you select the option "Make Public," this makes the app available to anyone who has the link. There will then be the option, "Copy Public Link." You can email this link to yourself and open it in your mail app on the device.
